Odie, Jay and Neil are stranded on an island with Calypso, a Nymph who loved Odysseus passionately. She's not about to let Odie leave the island, and Cronus isn't going to let them be rescued- so Theresa and the others find themselves between the rocks of Aealus' Island and Scylla!

After Odie is separated from Jay and Neil, he found himself washed up on a island where he briefly encounters Calypso, who mistake him for the man she love, Odysseus. When Jay and Neil also washed up on the island, they encounter her too. For half of the episode Calypso kept ruining the guy chances to leave as she didn't want Odie to leave since he looks like Odysseus. However he did promise to come back to visit after he saves their others from Cronus. Odie kept his promise but he couldn't stay, since he is part of the prophecy to defeat Cronus. Calypso said she can wait since she's immortal but before he left, she gave him a big kiss on the lips.
Trivia[]
- On Calypso's Island, Greek myths say that no one can age or die there, so how is Calypso having to get a new boyfriend every hundred years when one dies if they can't?
- Calypso was supposed to have died of grief after Odysseus left her island.
- The boat left behind by one of Calypso's boyfriends loosely resembles the one used by Odysseus, as depicted in his escape from Polyphemus's island in "Eye for an Eye", at least in that both have eyes painted on their bows, but the overall shapes are different. Some ancient Greek and Roman boats, such as triremes, were known to have eyes painted on them.[1]
