Appearance[]
The Telkhines are dog faced sea monsters with flippers instead of hands. They wear dark red/maroon robes that cover all but their flippers/hands and faces.
Personality[]
They are powerful alchemists and blacksmiths, but after they forged Poseidon's trident, they were imprisoned by the God of the Sea for aiding Cronus with their sorcery. Having been jailed for several millennia, they were overcome with a desire for revenge and would accept the offer from Cronus to help him in exchange to carry out their goal.
Plot[]
Cronus frees them so they may take revenge on Poseidon in exchange for acquiring and unlocking the secrets of one of the heroes' pendants. They are eventually tricked, and forced into a portal that traps them in a cell in Tartarus.
Trivia[]
- The Telkhines claim they created Poseidon's trident but the series and original myth state that the trident was made by the cyclops.
